The Location Prefix enables you to add some characters to the front of your locations names.

Where could this be useful?

In other email management systems like Mail Manager, you could have offices in different parts of the world that create locations with exactly the same name but without any conflict because the staff in each office doesn't have access to each other's locations. If they both had a Project Jellybean location CloudFiler would assume that they are the same location.

If you are concerned that this could happen and you want to ensure that New York's locations are uniquely named, you can add a prefix. 

Example

If the you set the Location Prefix to NY- all the imported location names will gain this prefix and Project Jellybean will become NY-Project Jellybean
